Jewish Cultural Tours of China vary depending on group size, interests and time frames and can include Shanghai, Kaifeng, Shandong, Beijing, Xian, Harbin and Hong Kong. We can cater to specific wishes and develop tours with greater or lesser academic emphasis.

Tours are run in cooperation with the Centre for Judaic and Inter-Religious Studies at Shandong University as well as other Jewish studies scholars and centers and local Jews in China so as to enrich the tours and provide local knowledge and support and be as welcoming to our guests as possible.

Programs include:

• Introduction of travelers to local Jewish communities in China over Shabbat dinners or lunches so as to develop new friendships, business ties and broadening of horizons as well as to observe the unique fusion of these communities in Asian lands.
• Visiting sites or cultural, Jewish, historical, aesthetic, political or universal interest.
• Introduction of travelers to Jewish studies interests in the cities they visit.
• Provision of dietary needs (including vegetarian, vegan and kosher) if required.
• Well educated and well prepared tour guides geared to answer questions and provide support to inquisitive and curious tourists.
• Accompanying scholars of Chinese Jewish culture to answer all questions and provide penetrating commentary to sites and subjects and to accompany the group throughout the country.
• Documentaries, movies and lectures on China, Judaism and other educational and cultural past times.
